Do Not Skip Meals : 
skipping meals often lead to increase in waistline because when you skip meals, your cortisol level increases and increases cravings for fat. Eating small meals throughout the day will help you in maintaining your body rather than eating three heavy meals.

Avoid Sweets : 
Sugar is the main reason to put on weight in the belly area. On consumption of excess sugar, it gets stored as fat and will cause you to put on weight. Add a pinch of cinnamon to your diet everyday to maintain your blood sugar.

Undisturbed Sleep : 
You should make sure to have at least 7 hours of undisturbed sleep. When your sleep pattern is disturbed, you will end up eating more. Less hours of sleep will change for hormonal production and cause insulin sensitivity which is an important reason for belly fat.

Exercise In Intervals :
When you do exercise in short bursts, it burns more fat than doing exercise continuously. Try rope jumping or climbing stairs once in two hours to get your self exercised. You can do crunches or run on the treadmill also to kill the excess energy.

Drink Water : 
Drinking water is a key element to reduce fat. Your body should be hydrated through out the day for active metabolism.

More Vegetables :
Start including more vegetables and fruits in your diet rather than rice or heavy food items. Lettuce, broccoli and kale are excellent choices.

Avoid Stress : 
Having a stressed out mind will lead to increase in weight so be cool always and solve your problems in a light hearted manner.
