Adding nuts to your diet is a good choice that will add health advantages to your life. Despite all the negative things you have heard about eating nuts, there are many positive reasons to enjoy them. Nuts have abundant levels of good fats and they are also fiber rich and protein. Moreover, nuts are lower in carbohydrates and even those on a strict low-carb plan can enjoy nuts and enjoy these functional foods.

Good Reasons To Adding Nuts To Your Diet :

Almonds :
Almonds are good sources of magnesium, copper, manganese, riboflavin, selenium and vitamin E. Almonds are known for improving memory, anemia and constipation. It's also effective in reducing cholesterol plus they help the body in stimulating the feeling good hormone called serotonin.

Walnuts :
Walnuts are great sources of plant-based omega-3 fats, natural phytosterols and antioxidants which are so powerful at free-radical scavenging. 6 Plus, walnuts might help reduce not only the risk of cancer of the prostate, but breast cancer as well. They’ve been shown to reverse brain aging in rats and boost heart health in individuals with diabetes.

Macadamia Nuts :
It's also a good source of copper, thiamine and manganese. Because Macadamia nuts are lower in anti-nutrients such as phytic acid, they can be consumed in high amounts also.

Pecans :
Pecans contain a lot more than 19 vitamins and minerals, and help lower Cholestrerol levels and promote healthy arteries. Certainly one of my favorite treats is candied pecans inside a salad at a restaurant.

Brazil Nuts :
Brazil nuts are loaded with organic selenium, a powerful antioxidant-boosting mineral that might help prevent cancer.
